The AEL-5000 series has built-in precision measurement circuitry such as 16-bit A/D and DSP to provide accurate measurement items, which include voltage (Vrms) , current (Arms), power (Watts), volt-ampere (VA), crest factor (CF), power factor (PF), total harmonic distortion (THD), total harmonic distortion in voltage (VTHD), total harmonic distortion in current (ITHD), peak current ( Ipeak), maximum current (Amax), minimum current (Amin), maximum voltage (Vmax), minimum voltage (Vmin), time measurement. In addition, the built-in test modes provide UPS efficiency, PV inverter efficiency, UPS backup time, battery discharge time, UPS transfer time, fuse/switch trip/no trip, short circuit simulation, OCP, OPP and other test modes .
The AEL-5000 series offers Turbo mode (ON or OFF selectable), which allows the current and power of the electronic load to be increased 2 times in one second. For test applications that require high transient power and large current such as transient overload testing of protective components or short circuit of fuses/switches and AC supply, OCP and OPP testing, etc. , Turbo mode is the most economical solution.
The entire AEL-5000 series provides overvoltage warnings, overcurrent protection, overvoltage and overtemperature protection. The analog input terminal can control constant current, constant power and other operating modes via external voltage. The Vmonitor / Imonitor terminal is used to connect an external voltage/current monitoring device. In addition, a variety of optional control interfaces such as GPIB, RS-232, USB and LAN are provided to meet all system integration needs.
