Chroma 62000D is a bi-directional programmable DC power supply with source and load characteristics.

This two-quadrant power supply handles power from the DUT to be converted back to utility grid , thus being ideal for testing renewable energy systems such as PV, storage and EV inverters as well as a wide range of bidirectional power conditioning system (PCS) or can be used as a battery simulator.

Applications are in testing power components, in electric vehicles such as bidirectional on-board chargers (BOBC), bidirectional DC converters , DC-AC motor drivers and can perform power conversion tests of Li-ion batteries in charge and discharge
