GW-Instek PEL-507-500-30 DC Programmable Load (500V/ 30A/ 700W)


GW-Instek's PEL-500 series DC electronic load is a single-channel electronic load. The series includes 5 models that provide operating voltages ranging from 0-80V to 0-500V. Power ranges from 250W to 700W. The series is widely used in R&D, quality control, automatic testing systems, in production areas and enables testing for voltage and current sources, transient response testing for switching power supply, constant voltage mode current limitation testing, battery simulation and battery discharge.

The display for setting voltage , current and power is 5-digit digital.The user can simultaneously display the measurement data of the DUT. In accordance with safety requirements, the PEL-500 series not only provides the short test function but also provides the function of automatic overcurrent protection/overpower protection tests.

In addition to the function of providing the charge current waveform to the 'oscilloscope via a BNC terminal. The series provides testing of overvoltage, overcurrent, overpower, over temperature , and reverse polarity detection. When any of these functions generate a trigger action the PEL-500 is made to self-protect against damage caused by abnormal operating ranges.
