Description
The TBL5016-1 50µH LISN is a device used to verify conducted noise measurements of DC or AC powered electronic equipment. It is designed in accordance with CISPR 16-1-2 and MIL-STD-461F standards and features a frequency range of 9 kHz to 100 MHz. It is also used to define a final impedance for various other standardized tests.
The LISN can be configured as 50Ω/50µH+5ohm or 50Ω/50µH via a high-current jumper used to short the 5-ohm resistor and configure it according to the CISPR 16-1-2 standard.
The LISN is characterized up to 100 MHz, which means that the LISN can be used for the combined range from 9 kHz to 100 MHz.
The LISN is inserted into the power line of the DUT (Device Under Test). The conducted disturbance, which is present at the power terminals of the DUT, can be measured at the BNC connector using a spectrum analyzer or measurement receiver. The source terminal (power supply) and the DUT terminal are decoupled by a 50 µH inductor.
DC or single-phase measurements typically require a pair of TBL5016-1.
Combination with Tekbox LISN Mate allows separate measurement of common mode and differential mode disturbance.
DUTs with three-phase power require three or four pieces of TBL5016-1, depending on whether the product is supplied in delta or star configuration.
The unit comes with an RG232 BNC-male to N-male cable, mating connectors, high-current configuration jumpers and ground brackets to connect it to a ground plane.
