GW Instek has launched the new GVM-9102 6 ½-digit voltmeter. It measures up to 2 kV of high-precision DC voltage, features a high sampling rate, 6 mathematical functions (dB/dBm/Compare/MX+B/Percentage and 1/X), and a variety of communication interfaces (USB, RS-232C, LAN, Digital I/O, and optional GPIB). These features provide the most complete measurement functionality, along with greater speed and accuracy, making it particularly suitable for measuring the output of energy storage devices, photovoltaic devices, or DC power supply devices.
The GVM-9102 has a 4.3-inch TFT graphic display and a high sampling rate of 10 k/s. In addition to the conventional digital display, the display can be integrated with a bar indicator, trend chart, or histogram for a more comprehensive and rapid panoramic view of the entire measurement process. At the same time, the internal 100 k memory capacity facilitates the measurement of trend charts or histograms and performs statistical calculations to simplify complex trend analysis.
For greater ease of use, the GVM-9102 integrates some ingenious operational solutions, such as numerical function keys for settings that require number entry, upper/lower limits, LAN IP interfaces or operational messages, and multiple languages (English / Traditional Chinese / Simplified Chinese / Japanese / Korean) to reduce the time for using and learning the meter.
For ATS or remote control measurement applications, the GVM-9102 offers an optional GPIB communication interface (customer-installable) in addition to the standard communication interfaces: USB, RS-232, and LAN. In terms of software support, the GVM-9102 provides a LabVIEW driver to facilitate the programming requirements of different system integrations.
