GW Instek has released a new leakage current tester: GLC-10000. This instrument features 12 simulated human impedance networks that comply with safety standards . It is ideal for testing medical electrical equipment and general electrical and electronic equipment, IT products, home appliances, other electronic devices. It ensures that the product design and manufacture comply with the requirements of safety standards including IEC, EN, UL, etc.

In order to comply with leakage current flow paths under different standards, GLC-10000 offers 20 measurement options to meet both the requirements of previous standards and those of newer standards.

GLC-10000 is equipped with a 7-inch TFT LCD touch screen that makes measurement operations more convenient and faster. The 'wide screen allows setting information and test results to be displayed on the LCD at the same time, improving the readability of observing information.
Relative to the measurement outputs of the instrument, users can select the front socket output (10A max.) or the rear terminal (20A max.) by selecting according to the current consumption of the DUT.
Thirty sets of internal memory can be used to store product measurement settings while another 1000 sets can be used to store results for reuse in conducting and analyzing the product to be tested later.

In addition, GLC-10000 provides a variety of standard interfaces, such as RS-232C, USB, LAN and remote I/O, and even GPIB (optional) to meet all system control and data acquisition needs.
