The new inexpensive safety testers, the GPT-9600 series, are a cost-effective solution to support routine testing of major elements of safety standards such as IEC, EN, UL, CSA, GB, JIS and other safety standards regulations.

Following a neat and user-friendly design concept, the GPT-9600 series offers users intuitive operation with a simple and clear panel layout, a large LCD display, and color LED indicators. The GPT-9600 series, is equipped with the same output voltage function as all GW Instek safety testers, indicates the expected output voltage before applying high voltage tests.

Other functions and features of the GPT-9600 include: zero-pass power operation to protect the DUT from the impact of peak output voltage, interlock function to protect users from dangerous shocks due to unintentional touching of the output voltage, a remote output on-off terminal in the front panel, and a signal I/O port in the rear are provided as a means for remote start/stop control of the safety tester.
