Due to their extreme accuracy and fast recovery time, R&S®NGU source measure units (SMUs) are designed for very important applications.

One ammeter measures currents from nA to A in a single acquisition , not requiring multiple sweeps , like other products.

The product's short recovery time allows it to measure fast load changes that occur , for example , when devices switch from sleep mode to transmit mode.

Data acquisition occurs with a speed of less than 2 μs resolution , called FastLog.

The R&S®NGU source measure units ( SMU ) are designed with two- or four-quadrant architecture , allowing operation as both source and sink to simulate batteries and loads.
