The GSG-2000 series RF vector signal generators basically cover a frequency range from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. They are suitable for communication applications in 'education, RF component testing (such as amplifiers, antennas and filters), automotive electronic signal testing and IoT applications. These instruments meet the testing requirements of RF products during both production and development phases. Compared with its main competitors, the GSG-2000 series offers superior specifications, including a wide amplitude output range of +20 dBm to -140 dBm, lower phase noise of -117 dBc/Hz and high frequency accuracy with frequency stability of 10 ppm and aging rate of 2 ppm. Users have the option of improving frequency stability and aging rate by selecting the OCXO (Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator) option, which provides 10 ppb stability and 0.1 ppm aging rate. For signal modulation, the entire series has built-in analog AM, FM, and PM modulation, and the GSG-2160 model features a digital signal modulation function with a maximum bandwidth of 60 MHz in digital signal output, supporting user-defined ASK, PSK, APSK, QAM, FSK, MSK, and IQ modulation signals.In addition, the GSG-2000 series also provides LF signals and pulse output signals. The LF signal allows users to output sinusoidal, square, triangular/ramp, Gaussian noise signals, while the pulse signal output can simulate pulse wave applications of various widths. In addition to the signal outputs mentioned above, the GSG-2000 series also provides a digital AM/FM/IQ signal input, as well as independent output ports for digital I or Q signals. The GSG-2000 series mounts a seven-inch TFT LCD display capable of fully displaying user-set parameters and status, provides USB, LAN, GPIB (optional) communication interfaces, and standard SCPI-compatible commands to support remote control.
