The central unit is the unit that houses the modular power supplies in the series. The 'image is for model 62000B-6-1 , model 62000B-3-1 is reduced and has only three slots.
The 62000B product family offers five types of power modules with voltage ranging from 1 V to 150 V, current from 10 A to 90 A, and two types of six- and three-slot central processing units. The six-position central processing unit can envelope up to six power modules with parallel operation for a power output of 9 kW. The 62000B series can easily parallel up to fourteen central processing units reaching 120 kW with power sharing and control via CAN BUS for applications requiring massive amounts of power.
The 62000B series modular DC power supplies have excellent productivity relative to cost and feature high power density and low current ripple. These instruments are designed for burn-in applications such as testing the operation of LCD panels, DC-DC converters, current inverters, notebooks, battery chargers and many other types of electronic devices.
Model 62000B products incorporate modern power factor correction circuits that provide an input power factor greater than 0.98 by meeting IEC requirements. These power factor correction circuits not only reduce the input current draw, but also greatly reduce the generation of input current harmonics. Softpanel software and control via CAN BUS offered as optional solutions allow the power supply system to be controlled and monitored with the help of a simple graphical interface.
