The ability to set CV/CC priority is useful for DUT protection.
Adjusting the slew/rate makes it easier to verify the operating characteristic of a DUT by allowing the output voltage or output current to be changed at a specific time. In addition, to prevent inrush current from damaging high-current devices, a smooth and slow voltage transition during turn-on and turn-off can significantly reduce the inrush current and prevent device damage.
The series provides OVP and OCP protection controls. Their levels are selectable . The default level is set at 110% of the voltage and current ratings of the power supply. When a protection level is activated the output is immediately turned off.
