The GLC-9000 device is used for leakage current testing on general purpose electrical equipment (IEC 60990). It is capable of realizing nine different types of measurement configurations to simulate the resistance of the human body while the equipment under test performs a leakage current test in accordance with specific standards or regulations , such as IEC, UL, JIS.....

In order to facilitate its use with a simple operating environment , the GLC-9000 is equipped with a large TFT LCD touch screen panel to configure the system and to present measurement setting information and result information simultaneously.

The GLC-9000 provides 50 preset test conditions that comply with IEC60990 and other standards for general electrical equipment . These conditions can be recalled easily and are a big advantage in optimizing setup time . There are also 30 empty memory sets available to store user-defined settings .

Meter mode , also available for the GLC-9000, uses the measuring terminal (T1 / T2) to measure voltage in the same way as the ordinary voltmeter. During voltage measurement, the SELV (safety extra-low voltage) function is applicable to detect if the voltage value between measurement points exceeds the SELV setting.
